The Grand Finale of the Hong Kong Economic Policy Challenge 2023 in association with the HKUST Center of Economic Policy and Economics Department comes to a close on May 6th, 2023. The competition received economic policy proposals from undergraduates around the world, focusing on a pivotal issue for the future of Hong Kong: labor force crisis.

The Grand Finale of the Hong Kong Economic Policy Challenge 2023

The event was designed to provide students with a platform to apply their economic education and policy ideas to address the economic challenges facing Hong Kong. The judges were impressed with the high-quality proposals and the depth of research that had gone into them, highlighting the importance of collaboration between academia, industry professionals, and government entities to address the city's economic challenges.
