DevelopmentBiography
Knowlton Chan is an undergraduate majoring in Mathematics and Economics at HKUST. Expected to graduate in 2023, he plans on pursuing postgraduate studies in the United States.
He is currently working on literature review of the topics that Prof. Kim's research and course are covering: fetal origin hypothesis, early childhood education and health, COVID-19 policies, and policy failures.
Before that, he assisted Prof. Wooyoung Lim with his project titled "Information Acquisition in College Admissions" and conducted data analysis and visualization using primarily VBA Excel. He also read economics journal articles, proofread working papers, and made suggestions on presentation slides used in KER conference. Prior to joining CEP as a student research intern, Knowlton served as a junior research assistant under Prof. Lim (ECON).
